Special Consensus Joins Chuck Wagon Gang on Song of the Mountains

Special ConsensusMarion, VA- The legendary Chuck Wagon Gang will appear on Song of the Mountains at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia on Saturday, October 6th. “We are very excited to have the Chuck Wagon Gang on our show again”, says Tim White the host of the award winning concert series which is broadcast across the United States on over 190 public television outlets. “This will make their second appearance on our show and they are an institution in American Gospel Music” states White.

The Roys Set to Perform at The 18th Annual ICM Faith, Family, Country Awards

Bluegrass music duo, The Roys, will also be performing new music from their latest album New Day Dawning, which debuted at #2 on Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart. The Grayson Highlands Band Brings Traditional Music to Carter Fold

Grayson Highlands BandThe Grayson Highlands Band, from the Jefferson, North Carolina area, plays a variety of old time music, ranging from rousing fiddle tunes to traditional songs and ballads. They are regulars at the Christmas in July Festival, the Albert Hash Festival, the Rugby Fall Festival, the Greater Lansing Area Festival, and the Wayne Henderson Festival. They have also been the guest band on the Gary Poe Live radio show several times, and have won numerous awards at regional fiddlers’ conventions. Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 7:30 p.m., the Carter Family Fold in Hiltons, Virginia, will present a concert of old time music by the Grayson Highlands Band. Admission to the concert is $8 for adults, $1 for children 6 to 11, under age 6 free.
