Della Mae Announce Spring Up Tour Featuring Special Guests

Della MaeNashville, TN -- Since forming in Boston in 2009, Nashville-based string band Della Mae has established a reputation as a charismatic live act comprised of some of the finest players in bluegrass, Americana and beyond. The GRAMMY-nominated outfit have announced spring tour dates, and have invited some of their favorite acts to guest appear including Phoebe Hunt, Nels Andrew, Only Lonesome, Ana Egge, Barnstar, and Danny Barnes. Sideline Welcomes Fiddler Daniel Greeson to Their Fold

StewartNashville, TN -- Carolina-Grassers Sideline will officially welcome fiddler Daniel Greeson to the fold at their Big Lick Bluegrass Festival show in Oakboro, North Carolina on April 13. Just 21, Daniel already has years of experience under his strings. The Jamestown, North Carolina native began playing fiddle when he was only six years old - after his uncle found a fiddle in the trash. Under the tutelage of J.B. Prince, he would go on to join the famed Junior Appalachian Musicians program. JAM offered Daniel the chance to meet many great players - and he would go on to study under Dewey Brown and Hunter Berry. Currently enrolled in the Bluegrass program at East Tennessee State University, Daniel has been a traveling member of the Bluegrass/Gospel group, The Churchmen, for the last three years.

Rebel Records Signs Traditional Bluegrass Band High Fidelity

High FidelityRebel Records is excited to announce the signing of High Fidelity to their artist roster. The Nashville, TN based group is led by Jeremy Stephens and his wife Corinna Rose Logston. Stephens cut a well received instrumental album entitled Scarlet Banjo for Rebel Records in 2000. Their Rebel debut is expected for an early Summer release. High Fidelity is a traditional bluegrass band comprised of young musicians with a passion for the past.

The SteelDrivers Announce New Lead Singer Kelvin Damrell

Turning Ground Joins Wilson Pickin's Roster

Wilson Pickins Promotions proudly welcomes Kentucky based bluegrass band TURNING GROUND to the agency. The Wilson's met up with the band after a Festival performance several years ago in Ohio and became fast friends. Melanie Wilson says, "Their energy and soul during the performance lit the crowd on fire and after meeting them I knew they were something special on and off stage. I've been a fan and we've been pals ever since."

Justin Harrison Joins Nu-Blu as Band's Newest Member

Justin HarrisonNashville, TN -- With 2018 already in full swing, Nu-Blu is happy to announce the addition of Justin Harrison to the band. The 24-year-old Morehead State University graduate from the Traditional Music Program will serve as the group's new mandolin player. Harrison will join other band members, including lead singer / bass player Carolyn Routh, lead guitarist Daniel Routh and banjo player TJ Honaker.

Justen Haynes Departs Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out

Chris Hill to Garrett Newton Band for 2018

Chris was with The Grass Cats for 20 years and played on several of their hit recordings. He is originally from Eastern North Carolina and still makes his home in Kinston. Not only has the Garrett Newton Band gained an exceptional fiddle player and vocalist, but also a tech person and experienced business veteran of the music industry. Chris completes the band which already consists of top-flight traditional musicians in rhythm guitar player and vocalist Allen Dyer, mandolin player Daniel Aldridge, flat-picker Parks Icenhour, renowned bluegrass professional Lorraine Jordan on bass and notable young banjo star, Garrett Newton.

Mountain Fever Records adds ClayBank to Label Roster

ClayBankWillis, VA -- Mountain Fever Records is pleased to announce the addition of North Carolina-based bluegrass band, ClayBank, to their roster. ClayBank will release their debut album for Mountain Fever Records Spring 2018. ClayBank is a new and impressive bluegrass band born out of the fertile musical ground of western North Carolina. The unique story of the formation of the group centers on a bluegrass veteran, who joined forces with a fellow picker in his mid-20s, and two talented teenage musicians that are about to be introduced to the greater bluegrass world. Gary Trivette is the elder statesman of ClayBank, a bassist and banjo player who has previously played with groups such as Carolina Crossing and Southern Accent. While sitting in a side room at the Appalachian State Old-time Fiddler’s Convention in Boone, NC, in 2015, he found himself jamming with then 15-year-old mandolinist Zack Arnold and guitarist Jacob Greer who was 17.

Bluegrass Band Nightflyer Signs with Pinecastle Records

NightflyerBluegrass band Nightflyer has signed with Pinecastle Records for a 2018 album. It will be the band's third album and debut for Pinecastle. To celebrate, the band is releasing a Christmas song "Oh Holy Night" as a free download on their website.
