The Duhks Join FreshGrass Lineup, Daily Lineups Announced

The DuhksNorth Adams, MA -- FreshGrass, MASS MoCA's annual bluegrass and roots festival, is famous for its lineup, its workshop programs in conjunction with The Berklee College of Music, its urban setting nestled in the bucolic Berkshire mountains - and infamous for its late-night, moonshine slushies-fueled parties that close out the first two nights of music. This year, Canadian fusion-folk stars The Duhks plan to raise the roof when they play the late show on opening night. The festival just released its day-by-day lineup for September 19-21, 2014.

The Duhks "Reunite to Rebuild a Duhks Dynasty"

The Duhks:Beyond the BlueThe Duhks are reunited and rejuvenated on their "superb" (Relix) new record, Beyond The Blue, out June 24, and are ready to reclaim their place as one of Canada's premiere artists of the neo-folk revivalist era. Produced by Mike + Ruthy (The Mammals), the 12-song album shows The Duhks in the best form of their 13-year career. Featuring founding members Leonard Polodak (banjo/lead vocals) and Jessee Havey (lead vocals), the new album welcomes three new members to the lineup, Rosie Newton (fiddle), Kevin Garcia (drums/percussion), and Colin Savoie-Levac (guitar/bouzouki).

Beyond the BlueNashville, TN -- The Duhks are back and set to release their long- awaited new studio album Beyond the Blue on June 24. The album shows the band in the best form of its 13 year career. Rejuvenated by a two year hiatus and energized by the return of vocalist Jessee Havey and the addition of new members, fiddler Rosie Newton, drummer/percussionist Kevin Garcia, and guitarist/bouzouki player Colin Savoie-Levac, The Duhks founder Leonard Podolak found an amazing pallet of inspiration for the new project.
