2015 High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival Lineup Announced

Joe Mullins & The Radio RamblersMusic will ring out across the Wet Mountain Valley at the 13th annual High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival this July in the heart of the Rockies. Join us as Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, Lou Reid and Carolina, Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, Darol Anger and the Furies, The Hillbenders, Eddie and Martha Adcock with Tom Gray, Dan Crary, Steve Spurgin, and Bill Evans, Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys, The Price Sisters, Art Stevenson and High Water and many other top-notch bluegrass performers converge on Westcliffe, Colorado, for four days of music benefitting non-profit organizations in our community. Come enjoy stunning views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the youth music program, the camaraderie of on-site camping and pickin’, in addition to the full roster of exciting bluegrass performers. The 13th annual festival dates are Thursday through Sunday, July 9 - 12, 2015.

The song, written by Ray Edwards, Terry Foust and Lou Reid, appears on Lou Reid and Carolina’s album, Callin' Me Back Home.

Lou Reid and CarolinaMarion, VA -- Song of the Mountains will be taping another episode of the award winning concert series at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia on Saturday, April 14th. “This show is a tremendous lineup of talent,” says Tim White the program’s host and executive coordinator. “Our entire lineup is made up of headliners.” states White. Scheduled to appear on the April 14th concert are bluegrass music artists Sierra Hull and Highway 111, Roni Stoneman and Mountain Country which includes her sister Donna Stoneman, Lou Reid and Carolina and the Cockman Family.

The band began in 1992, with it's sound largely based in traditional bluegrass music roots with emphasis on dynamic vocals. The current band is no exception. The Americana Music area is currently featuring Lou Reid & Carolina.
